  • MAY TATTOOS PT2 & CASUAL LIFE UPDATE

Got my second tattoo this month as another birthday gift to myself hehe. My birthday was on the 15th but I ended up having to work all day. For the first time in years I went to a different artist, it felt like I was cheating :< I’ve been looking for a good anime tattoo artist but there aren’t as many here in San Diego. The one I originally wanted to go to rarely has his books open bc he’s so busy. I went to @nikkixjames at Yokai House bc my cousin happened to come across their ig and felt like he was the one lol. I actually really liked their shop. It’s cute and feels like you’re at a friends house, and they’re all lil otakus it’s amazing lol. It’s also the first time I’ve never heard kpop played casually that’s not in an asian store/market or outside of my home lol. I was dying bc they played Mirotic by TVXQ and Lies by BB and I was like (✧ω✧) it surprised me. The oldies lol And a lot of Jay Park and anime intros lol. I know I’ve mentioned in my previous post but I’ve been wanting a portrait tattoo of Kyo for over a decade and I’m sooooo stoked. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better he nailed it. (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡

Right after we finished, he really just looks so good I’m so pleased ∩(︶▽︶)∩ I really felt bad for him bc it really issue much line work lol We spent a total of 4.5ish hours I think? Which I was expecting about 4-5 hours. Everyone kept asking if it was a tough spot to get tattoo and it didn’t really hurt more than any other places lol Felt about the same, it wasn’t too bad. Like I mentioned in my last post getting tattooed isn’t particularly painful for me regardless of the location (dips are the exception those are a bummer) but the wiping sucks lol. And also I usually never keep the tegaderm on, I usually take it off and shower right when I get home or the same night. I was really tired that day and didn’t take it off until night time the following day and it ended up really irritating my skin (last photo) and it stayed like that for about 5 days :< I know my skin and I kneeew I should have taken it off when I got home but I was lazy lol. It’s better now, I had to make sure I scrubbed off all the stickies which was annoying.

This was Junji’s inspo for his Kyo portrait. He wore it during some concerts but it’s also from Sukekiyo’s MV for 12時20分金輪際 . I love all his completely unhinged avant-garde looks he comes up with. One in the guys in the shop said it reminded him of the movie The Nun from The Conjuring universe lol And my friend said it reminded her of Lady Gaga? But that’s fine I love The Conjuring and Lady Gaga is chill so no complaints lmao.

On another note, I’ve also semi-successfully finished finals. I didn’t pass the one class I needed to, so now I have to retake in next month during summer. Was really looking forward to finally not having a summer/winter class for the first time but whatever. I’m mad at myself but I just really have no choice but to pass the summer course which I think is only 6 weeks. But I’m familiar with the prof. so I should be okay. I also developed my film last week and I think they’re soooo overexposed TT I’m so sad lol. I hope a few of them are decent, I won’t find out until I upload and edit on my laptop since I’m scanning digitally. Not actually scanning but just taking photos of the negs and uploading those but idk what to call that without it sounding funky lol. But just look at this mess (⇀‸↼‶) Tragic.

Fingers crossed for ONE good shot, I beg. Anyway, to tie things up I’m just gonna drop these cute pictures of Kaya I took the other day, enjoy ╰(*´︶`*)╯

  • QUICK APRIL RECAP

I just realized I never posted about my mini roadtrip LA. Originally my cousin and I had planned to go up to LA for the Academy museum bc they have a Studio Ghibli exhibit that we really wanted to go to and ends at the end of summer. In the end it turned out to be a little family trip with 2 of my aunts coming as well which was fun. I’m sooo sad that photos were prohibited in the Ghibli exhibit :c but basically it was a lot of concept art and paintings from Miyazaki. The whole exhibit was beautiful and I’m seriously so upset pictures weren’t allowed lol. We were there maybe like an hour max bc we didn’t really care about the other film stuff. I was hoping I’d find one of his art books in the gift shop but they didn’t have what I was looking for. I ended up getting this really cute My Neighbor Totoro lunch bag lol. On our way back home we had planned to stop by Ranchos Los Cerritos because they have a garden with blooming wisterias. But I guess we got there too late in the season bc there weren’t very many ( ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥) but it was still pretty. The hard a large back garden and an old adobe house made into a museum. We were originally unsure if we were able to go in bc a wedding ceremony was being set up lol.

I was debating if I should take my film or mirrorless camera this day and ended taking my Sony for the sake of simplicity. I finally got around to uploading and editing the photos I took that day and I kinda like how some of them turned out. It’s the first that time I’ve edited anything since getting my new MacBook. I’m hoping to start exploring and trying out some street photography in the future, but in the meantime here’s a few photos from this day. I used CodyBlue’s and THAT ICELANDIC GUY’s Lightroom presets to edit most the photos. Don’t forget to check out my ig for more about my day bc we went to some cute shops n stuff too :>

  • MAY TATTOOS & BLOG CHANGE

Hii. Just a little life update from this month. You might notice a few changes about my blog and it’s because I transferred my domain and am no longer on blogger! I’m a little sad bc bloggers the OG but it’s just not doing what I need it to do anymore and I was always having issues with simple things. I switched to WordPress and have this new theme for my site that’s very similar to my old one but a little different. I’m still gonna keep my blogger site active for memories but this is my primary one officially. I’m a little sad bc the resolution and post format on my old posts are a little funky since I imported all my content but that’s fine. I’m still learning how to navigate things and the posting format is way different from what I’m used to. There are just so many widgets and in-post widgets that I can use that I’ve never seen before. I feel like an old person learning how to use the internet lol. I’m also still not sure how to change photo size in post lol. But I think going forwards my content will be better :>

I also finally got around to getting a couple of tattoos that I’ve been wanting for years as a little birthday present to myself. I got the ouroboros snake tattooed around my knee and will be getting a portrait of Kyo from Dir en grey that was drawn by Junji Ito in a couple of weeks. The snake represents the nature of life, the cycle of destruction & rebirth etc. and it also is the name of one of my favorite albums by Dir en grey. I’ve also been wanting a portrait of Kyo since like middle school?? But finding a good portrait artist and a style I wanted was difficult. When I was at Barnes & Noble a while back I was looking through Junji Ito’s artbook Twisted Visions and saw 2 portraits of Kyo that he drew and my soul left my body I was so happy. (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ) I love Ito’s art so much and thinking about it it makes sense that Kyo would be his muse for this part of his art book him being the very avant-gard man he is lol.

The first of the two that I got done this month was the ouroboros. I went to Carlos @ Flying Panther Tattoo. He’s done most of my stuff and every new piece I get I always think “okay THIS one is my favorite lol.

My appt was at 1230 and after placing the stencil and stuff starting tattooing at 1ish and finished around 330? It was a tough piece I’m always so impressed with Carlos he truly is an amazing artist.

Everyone was saying how bad it was gonna hurt being on/near my knee (I don’t ever think the pain is that bad in general) and I think overall I’d give it a 1/5 on the pain-o-meter lol 1.5 max afterward when it gets wiped down, my least favorite part. Getting my septum pierced hurt more lol I’ll do an update on it when I get the junji tattoo since it’ll probably be mostly healed by then.

Also absolutely no one asked but since I talked about the album here are some of my favorite songs lol Also surprisingly Carlos knew who I was talking about when I mentioned why I was getting the snake. Apparently, his brother also likes Dir en grey, so you should too ´・ᴗ・`

    Favorite songs~

    1. Vinushka
    2. Ware, Yami Tote ・・・
    3. Inconvenient Ideal
    4. Taguro
    5. GLASS SKIN & DOZING GREEN come in tied for me

Basically, the whole album but these are my favorites that I think are just iconic out of their discography.

I have finals next week so everyone keep me in their thoughts & prayers bc I’m not sure if I’ll pass my econ 303 class TT If I pass I only have to take one class next semester and I graduate. My moms already planning a birthday/graduation trip for us to go on and I’ll be so sad if we plan it and I end up being behind on my classes and my graduation date gets pushed back (´∩`。) stressed. Anyway that’s all from me for now :>

edit: okay I reaaaally like how much I’m able to do in-post. I’m able to add so much more and all the little widgets and stuff is so cool lol. A big upgrade from lil ole blogger.

  • TRAVEL DIARIES: FALLBROOK

    TRAVEL DIARIES: FALLBROOK

Been busy with midterms and studying for finals but wanted to share a recent trip I haven’t gotten around to posting about. Last month I took a little mini vaca for spring break and headed an hour or so north to Fallbrook, and stayed at this cute lil airbnb with a barn door as the main entrance lol. It was cozy and super quiet, except when trying to sleep. Apparently the neighbors down the street have a bunch of peacocks that make insane noises at 2am? I woke up in a panic the first night because it was so loud and I didn’t know what it was at first lol. Had a rough time sleeping our stay there bc of that stupid bird. The paintings in the living room area also looked like titans running around and it was all I could think about whenever I looked at it lol. My main goal for the trip was to get some astro shots, since our previous trips there was either too much light pollution or there was a full moon so it was too bright but I FINALLY was able to get some shots that night. I hated how they came out just bc I feel like the composition is weird. There was no open space where trees or cable lines weren’t in the shot, so I had to settle and work with what I had :/ I think it came out decent for my first try but also hate it just because it’s not perfect and exactly what I want lol but next time for sure will be better. Ideally further out and in an open space where I can get a photo of the milky way. I think next trip will be Anza Borrego?

We went on a mission to go to a little zoo(?) if you could call it that. It was like a petting zoo but with a zebra lol. It took us almost an hour just to get there and it was only a 20 min drive from us. The main road was blocked off and we got sent back to do a full circle about to the back way where the only entrance was blocked off so we circled around for a while to find some other entrance and finally just called the place to see how people were getting there. They just told us to drive past the do not pass sign lol Apparently that was all we had to do and it was just there for funsies. It was annoying and I was ready to just drive back to the airbnb. But I’m glad we made it and got to touch some cute cows lol. We also spent some time in Temecula for wine tasting afterward (ㅅ´ ˘ `) I might have said this before but I’m on a mission to find a wine that I really like. We ended up at Falkner winery and had the best charcuterie board with the best truffle cheese?? We had a couple charcuterie boards during our stay and I think this one might have been my favorite that I’ve had just in general. I just wish they had more meats 🙁 then it would have been *chefs kiss* it was a fun little getaway weekend though.

I probably won’t be on again for the next couple of weeks until finals are over, so don’t forget to head over to my instagram to check out my photo dumps from my Fallbrook weekend 🙂 AND ALSO, I just wanted to say I’m super excited for BTS’ comeback June 10. I can’t wait 🙁 I was super depressed I didn’t get to see them when they were in Vegas, I was soooo close to buying a ticket and going by myself but decided to wait until their next tour. I have slight regrets but it’s fine, I just keep telling myself I’ve seen them twice already and am just being selfish TT Hopefully I can get good seats during the next preorder. I’m stressed just thinking about it (ד ྊ ד ) I’m so proud of them and excited to see how far they go. Til next time!

  • Del Mar: Van Gough Exhibit + Understory + Cucina Enoteca

Del Mar: Van Gough Exhibit + Understory + Cucina Enoteca

I bought some tickets to the Van Gough exhibit since it’ll be ending soon. I liked it a lot but I feel it was definitely overpriced lol. The first half is about his life and aspirations and the second half is a large room that projects his art and is constantly changing. The transitions were really neat and were very pretty when they used flowers from his paintings. I brought my Nikon f3 this day so I’m praying everything I shot comes out well ●︿● We finished everything a little earlier than expected and needed something to do since our dinner reservations weren’t until a couple hours later.

We ended up at Understory for some drinks. It’s right in the middle of this upstairs area with a bunch of little food places surrounding it. It kind of reminds me of Liberty Station’s public market area. When you sit at a tablet there’s a little QR code and you can order from any of the surrounding shops and they’ll bring it to you at the bar ≧◡≦ I forget from which place but we ordered some poke nachos and calamari. The nachos definitely needed more fish 🙁 it was disproportionate to the number of wonton chips there were lol. The calamari was calarmari. Nothin bad to say about it. The sauce they gave us to use with it was bbq sauce? Or tasted a lot like it which I thought was interesting. It went well together though. I really liked this place lol. Want to go back again when I have more time.

     Cucina Enoteca $$

Later that evening I had booked a reservation for Cucina Enoteca. Originally I wanted to go there bc of their wine selection. I’m on the hunt for a good wine that I like and won’t give me a major headache. Their menu was a bit small but the food was good and they were super quick with bringing everything out. Our reservation was at 430 which is right when they reopen for the evening, so it wasn’t too busy at the time. The pasta was a bit too molto al dente for me though lol. But the lemon ricotta was they had with it was so good. The inside is really cute too. There are two sections on the inside, the first is what you initially walk into, which has a little bar area and a giant long table. They have a little curtain of stringed horses following the length of the stairs from the ceiling which apparently is supposed to be a small homage to the Del Mar race tracks. Apparently, the only way you can order from the happy hour menu is if you’re sitting in that section. The other section is more intimate with smaller tables with little cushions and pillows lined along the walls for seats instead of booths. It’s a little on the pricey side but overall it’s cute for a nice dinner date and would recommend going at least once.

  • EM COSMETICS HAUL: FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Hii, posting from my new macbook! I placed the order for the new 16″ in Janurary and finally recieved it last week. I’m so excited to finally be able to edit things and not have to rely on my ipad for school stuff lol. Posting blog posts on my ipad was rough too (´A`。 Maybe I’ll share how I customize my macbook and ipad another time :>

I’ve been wanting to try EM Cosmetics for such a long time now and finally just went all out a couple months ago and haven’t gotten around to talking about it. I actually genuinely really like everything I got. Her blushes are soooo creamy and the cosmic pearl shadows and highlight cushions are so so pretty. When I was transferring all my things to my new macbook I lost a lot of photos I had saved so I don’t have certain photos that I wanted to share, like the lip products and her daydream spf cushion. The cushion shades are supposed to be flexible for all skin tones but not sure how accurate that is. I got the shade gentle light and the undertone looks a little odd for me, too peachy I think? But I’ll keep trying it out and see if I can make it work.

In order of how they appear:

    >infinite lip cloud in morning mocha

    >infinite lip cloud in faded clementine

    >true gloss in faded clementine

    >lip cushion tinted lip luminizer in faded clementine

    >soft blue velvet lip line in teddy

As we know I love my orange for the lips and blush so I had to get every product in faded clementine lmao. I think out of all of them the lip cushion is probable my favorite, its super soft and you can blend it out or build it up for more intensity.

    >so soft blush in passion

    >so soft blush in lychee

I really love her blush line. They’re super blendable and have such nice pigment. I think I eventually want to get all of the shades. Passion will def become one of my most used blushes, it’s like a blood orange? I don’t think I have a shade in my collection like it. And lychee is a really cute pinky watermelon color I enjoy it more than I thought I would since I don’t usually gravitate towards shades like that.

    >cosmic pearl (foils?) in luna

    >cosmic pearl in moonshine

    >cosmic peal in wish

These shades are ridiculous. I’ve been using them in my inner corners but I think I’ll start using them all over the lid. If you use your brush it’s a very pretty light wash of color but applied with your fingers it get really intense and I love it lol

    >moonbeam cushion highlighter in halo

    >moonbeam cushion highlighter in aura

I think I was slightly underwhelmed by these. They’re very pretty when you’re doing a natural, dewy look for the day but outside of that, so far I’m not too sure. It pairs really well the spf cushion but when I used the moonbeam cushion to apply overtop it started lifting the product from the tinted spf 🙁 so I switched to my fingers to apply it instead which made me sad bc I actually like the way it applies more evenly with the cushion. I also don’t really like the packaging, it’s cute but excessively bulky, and one of them doesn’t shut all the way. I had only just opened it and couldn’t snap it back shut, so I’m hoping it shut enough so that it doesn’t dry out (_ _|||)

    > heavens glow radiant veil blush in you guessed it, faded clementine

So far I think it’s a cute blush, a nice burnt orange shade. It looks a lot brighter applied than it does in the pan. I haven’t gotten around to using it as much being I’ve been using the passion cream blush nonstop instead lol. Overall I’m pretty happy with everything, the cream blushes definitely taking the #1 spot among them all lol. I have a lot I wanna share like new food places I’ve been and the games I’m playing, so I think I’ll just do one big life update info dump soon lol

  • Project Pan 2022

Hii ⸜( ˙˘˙)⸝ As the title suggests I’ve been preparing to start project pan. I’ve seen a lot of YouTubers starting ‘project pan’ recently and I actually think it’s a really thoughtful way to get through your collection. I was actually inspired by JUDY, who I’ve been subbed to for a while, but I actually think Kelly Gooch may have been the one to really kick start the project? I’m not entirely sure but I’d like to give credit where credit is due. It originally caught my attention bc I tend to really hoard my makeup lol Especially with high-end/luxury products. I get into the mindset where I’m just like “if I keep using it then it’ll be gone and then I’ll have to buy another (which is the point??)” so I end up using a fraction of the makeup I actually own. I also end up naturally putting my makeup on some sort of rotation without really thinking about it. Which leaves me with a bunch of products that are barely or half used. I think starting project pan can not only help free up some space, but also maybe help me be more mindful when I’m purchasing new products. ╰(*´︶`*)╯

With that being said I decided on choosing a few different products based on type and commit to throughout the year. Since I tend to use certain shades during specific seasons, esp when I’m more pale/tan I wanted to group them up by season as well. I feel like categorizing and listing things this way just makes the most sense for me. This year I really want to focus on using up all the foundations/skin tints I own, and using up my skincare products. I tend to burn through my skincare products quickly since those are what I use more consistently, but there are still some products that I think I can put more of an effort into using. I think pictures would be more helpful but I just have so much it’d be a pain to shoot everything to create a side-by-side every month.. so for now I think I’ll just list off the products.

*edit* while categorizing everything I realize how massive and insane this looks but a lot of them are repeats throughout the season I swear o(iДi)o  actually I’m missing a lot of lip stuff I want to use, like the huda beauty matte nudes.. but I guess I’ll add them later lol it’s mostly just for me so I can look back and keep tabs on stuff. But alas, here is my list lol

  • Finally committed and upgraded

I finally committed and got another film camera!! I think I’ve mentioned before but KingJvpes  on Youtube is really who inspired me to start playing around with film, and recruited me into the Minolta gang lol I’ve been eyeing the Nikon f3 and found one in damn near perfect condition for a good price on eBay and I couldn’t pass it up. I kept thinking about it and caved lol She’s so beautiful and I’m pumped to take her out and take some shots ( ✧Д✧)!!

So since I don’t have any Nikon cameras I didn’t have any lenses for it so I splurged a little.. lol I ended up getting 3. The Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 Ai-s because I kind of want to start playing around with portraits and nothing beats the tried and true nifty fifty, the Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 Ai-s for some solid street photography and its overall a pretty highly regarded lens in terms of picture quality, and last the 24mm f/2.8 just bc I thought it would be fun to have an ultra wide lens

( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )੭⁾⁾ I was going back and forth between the 50mm 1.4 v 1.8 but ultimately went with the 1.8 because photos seemed to be a little sharper? I also have a couple 1.4 lenses already so it’s not too big a deal for me. I have a friend’s wedding coming up and I was thinking about taking it out but she wants me to take photos she can have that day lol Soo sony camera it is. I bought the Sony 35mm f/1.8 recently so I guess I’ll use that for the wedding instead. I’m so excited for everything ₍꒢  ̣̮꒢₎

                                                                    Nikkkor 50mm f/1.8 Ai-s

  • Travel Diaries: Palm Springs

My winter session ended on the 14th, so I had a week of no school until my spring semester started (today lol) and wanted to do something relaxing before I start the new semester. I happened to have the weekend off and was able to give away my Friday and Monday shift so I ended up having a 4 day weekend in Palm Springs ´・ᴗ・` Everything worked out pretty well considering how last minute it was. I got lucky and found a cute little airbnb and was able to reserve a day at a spa for that Sunday as well. I also finally finished up the rest of my roll of film that I had in my Minolta so I’m really excited to see how they turn out  ୧☉□☉୨

    Friday:

Our check-in wasn’t until 4pm so we had a lot of time to kill. On our way there we decided to stop by Cabazon Dinosaurs which I was pretty excited about. I may or may not have almost killed us driving there bc I didn’t see the street I was supposed to turn on and turned left into the wrong street (◡︵◡) But we survived.  When we got there I was surprised that there were so many dinosaur models but hardly any information about each of them lol They had a little dig site where you look for rock with a dinosaur name on it so you can redeem it for a prize. I found two, and ended up getting a stamp and a tiiiiny plastic dinosaur lol

Afterwards we still had a couple hours until check-in so we went to Costco to get stuff to make for dinner and some snacks. We got some steak and veggiesヾ(*´ ∇ `)ノ It was also crazy windy. Before leaving San Diego I saw that there was a wind advisory for the week, and hadn’t noticed any strong wind up until that point. My little baby car was being thrown around driving to the airbnb ╥﹏╥ We were actually able to check in an hour early so when we got there we just napped a little and then started cooking dinner. Had some steak and mushrooms with some asparagus and quinoa rice (not pictured bc there was no space on the plate) and some wine (─‿‿─)♡

    Saturday:

Saturday was a free day where we just relaxed. I wanted to go thrifting to see if I could find something cool and I also wanted to go to this camera store to see if I could find some 35mm film because they’re literally impossible to get a hold of right now. I had no luck finding and film, even went to a Walmart and Walgreens. The only place I can find them right now is on amazon but they’re expensive. We had also planned on going to this kbbq place called You Grill later that evening. I was surprised we were able to find one over there lol Their meats were okay 🙁 I’m sad I didn’t love their pork belly. Also to our surprise there was a Mochinut nearby also lol.

    Sunday:

Our last day was spa day! We had a massage reservation at El Morocco Inn, they recommended we get there a little earlier to walk around because we had access to the rest of the spa too since we booked a massage. We ended up going around 11 and relaxed in their mineral hot tub while drinking coffee. They had saunas as well but I don’t like that much heat lol. After we wanted to go eat so we went to their downtown area? Not sure what to refer to it as but we were originally supposed to go to Trio to eat but of course when we got there they were randomly closed for the day lol We ended up walking all the way down to The Tropicale, and I guess we were semi-lucky this time? lol We got there about 30 minutes before their kitchen closed at 3 so we had to order quickly. I was just happy to not be hangry anymore lol Then after we walked back down the strip and got some gelato. ᕕ( ՞ ᗜ ՞ )ᕗ

Overall it was a nice and relaxing trip that I’m grateful I was able to take. Before I left I had ordered a Nikon f3 on eBay and some nice lenses so I got home with some presents waiting :> (packages lol) A couple of the lenses that I ordered for both my Minolta and Nikon came in, but I’m still waiting on a few more plus that actually Nikon f3 body. Once it comes in I’ll probably make a post about it and my experience with it. I’m sooo excited to use it (✧∀✧) Next trip I’ll take it instead of my tried and true Minolta. I’ll also have to plan better next time bc both times I’ve gone on a road trip with the intention of shooting some astro pics it always ends up cloudy or on a full moon lol A lot of things to look forward to this year ( ´ ▽ ` )

  • December 2021 favorites

Going to try and be consistent with my favorite posts this year. My New Year’s resolution was to be more consistent with my hobbies lol So photography, blogging, drawing, and gaming will no longer get neglected lol. For this month a few of these I’ve been using for a while and rediscovered towards the end of the year, and others I just started using and really enjoy.

Starting off strong with the new natasha denona glam face palette she dropped this season. SO pretty. Her palettes are so expensive and sometimes I can’t really justify spending that much money on basic shades but I think it’s nice she added a row of neutrals to her face palette. Even labeled them for simplicity lol The blush and highlight feel super velvety, I wanna say it’s like a cream to powder finish but not quite. The shadows have the same quality as her others, I lovee her glitters. The 2 she added in this palette are *chefs kiss* I love the packaging, it has a large mirror and it’s magnetic so closing it is very satisfying lol I think this would make for a good travel palette :>

Continuing on with cheek products I have a few of some blushes I’ve been using nonstop. Going from left to right: I’ve actually started using more of Tower 28’s products and their lip + cheek cream blush in golden hour was the first thing I’ve tried of theirs and it’s such a beautiful orangy color. I’m obsessed with orange blushes and am always on the look out for new ones so I’m stoked I noticed this one. Next is rare beauty’s liquid blush. This one was from a mini trio pack that they launched before the holidays that included bliss and 2 new ones, hope and peace. Hope has now been added to the regular collection but this shade below is still only bb size 🙁 and this trio isn’t in stock anymore so idk what I’m gonna do when I run out lol Genuinely so hurt hope was added but not peace. Last is this single orange blusher I got from yesstyle. This is a TRUE orange and I’m all for it lol I have no complaint’s about it.

The nudegasm palette was released during the holidays and I think it was limited edition originally? But now it looks like it’s here to stay which is nice. The photo can’t really do it justice but the highlight is soo pretty and reflective. The first day I tried it someone commented on it lol The blush is really pretty too, it’s more of a topper for me though. I also haven’t done much with the sculpting bronzers yet but they’re def good contouring shades.

Another CT lol I know we’re all familiar with the flawless line but I had to make it known bc I finally hit pan! I really enjoy this powder. I use it for my tzone area and it just looks so nice when I apply it to my forehead lol I stopped baking underneath my eyes a while ago bc it felt cakey and I just felt like I creased more? So instead I’ve been using this to set my undereye area and it feels so much nicer.

This past year I’ve been really into powder foundations and have been trying a bunch of different ones. I just feel a lot lighter wearing them versus liquid. I have a few that are my favorites so far and might make a post about them later on but the bare minerals pressed powder foundation needs some recognition lol It was hard finding my shade bc covid so I couldn’t swatch but ended it getting an almost exact match.

The no problem by touch in sol has been my go-to primer recently, this is actually my second bottle. I’ve also been trying out their icy sherbert primer and it feels cooling and has a blurring effect when you first apply it and then kind of loses it pizzazz. I’ll have to keep trying it and see.

The morphe brow pencil is probably one of my favorites that I’ve tried. It’s pigmented and the dark brown is perfect. For whatever reason I have a hard time finding dark brown pencils that don’t have a weird red undertone. And then the shisedo spf stick I’ve been using for a while. I use it under my makeup and it’s not greasy and gives no white cast :> it’s expensive and so tiny for the price but it is nice.
